The Salsbury 4300 Series Roadside Mailbox is a locking, all-aluminum curbside mailbox with doors on both the front and the rear. The carrier drops mail through a front panel, and you collect it with a key from either side. It is USPS approved and fits posts, columns and walls.

Installation

Shipping and returns

• We process orders within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. It ships direct from the manufacturer, and we email tracking when it ships.
• Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. Request a return first to get an RGA number. The item must be unused, not assembled, installed or modified, and in all its original packaging.
• You pay return shipping. Restocking fee: 20% for residential orders, 25% for commercial or bulk returns (5 or more items).
• Report damage or missing parts within 48 hours of delivery.

Is this mailbox USPS approved?

Yes. Salsbury makes it to USPS-STD-7B specifications and it is USPS approved. Check with your local postmaster before installing.

How many keys come with it?

Each door has its own lock with 2 keys. The front and rear locks are keyed alike, so one key opens both doors.

How does the carrier deliver mail if the doors lock?

The carrier drops mail through a non-locking access panel on the front. You open the locking front or rear door to collect it. The front panel also has an outgoing mail tray.

Does it come with a post?

No, this is the mailbox only. Salsbury standard pedestals (bolt-down or in-ground) and deluxe posts are sold separately.

Can I build it into a brick column or wall?

Yes. The 4300 Series can be mounted on posts, or in columns, masonry or walls.
