Mail Boss by Epoch Design was founded out of necessity when the company president had his private mail stolen multiple times in just a few months. In order to protect himself and his company from being victims of mail theft, he tried to find a suitable locking mailbox in the market. However, no such product existed so he saw an opportunity and decided to create his own secure locking mailboxes. That’s how the first Mail Boss curbside locking mailbox was born.
Since its inception in 2006, the MailBoss product line has expanded to include various post-mounted mailbox models and locking wall mount mailbox options, all constructed with security as the main design factor. They are affordable, USPS approved, have short lead times usually leaving their facility in Arlington Washington within one business day, and include free shipping.

Mailboss Product Range
All Mail Boss mailboxes are constructed of electro-galvanized welded steel, feature commercial-grade wafer locks, and include their proprietary anti-pry latch to prevent leveraged entry. The locks utilize anti-pick, anti-drill flame hardened cams, and are extremely difficult to pick, making them undesirable targets for identity theft. All products use stainless steel hinges and feature a durable powder-coated finish to protect them from the elements.
Post Mount Mailbox
All of their curbside locking security mailboxes can be mounted to either a 43” in-ground post, or their 38”/27” surface mount post models. There is also the option to install multiple mailboxes on a single post using their spreader bars which allow up to 4 mailboxes to be installed on a single post.
Mail Boss
The Mail Boss is the first model that was produced. It is designed to receive standard mail and holds about a week's worth of mail.
Package Master
With the current trend of people receiving more small packages, the Package Master Curbside Mailbox came into the picture. It is designed to accept small packages such as pill bottles or other items up to the size of an iPad.
Mail Manager
The Mail Manager Curbside Locking Mailbox is essentially the little brother of the Boss Package Master. It is smaller, weighs less, and uses thinner gauge steel but can accept packages of similar dimensions.

The Metro and Townhouse are two high security locking wall mount mailboxes. They are contemporary mailboxes designed to accept regular mail and can easily be mounted to almost any surface.
Olympus Drop Box
The Olympus is a small dropbox that features all of the innovative Mail Boss features in a small package. It is designed for office or covered outdoor use and can accept cheques, keys and other small items. It does not however accept regular mail making it unsuitable for most residential applications.
