I ordered a rear access street mailbox in black. And what I received was a white mailbox with a damaged corner on the back end. It made the door opening allmost impossible and the funny thing is the box it came in, says black mailbox.

If you are looking for something that looks nice and is easy to install this is it! The mailboxes are sturdy and only having to attach them to one post makes it super simple to install. One thing I would recommend is slipping the post over a 2x4 piece of wood first and then using screws to attach the post to the wood (you have to purchase screws separately).
Items came quickly and were easy to set up! We love it. Huge upgrade!

The post and mailbox are very classy and eye catching. The average handyman will need help from an experienced contractor. It seems odd that you do not receive the bolts, washers and nuts to attach the mailbox to the arm. They also do not align up with the identified marks on the mailbox to drill the holes and attach the box to the arm. There are grooves on the bottom of the interior mailbox floor that stick up and unless you shave down the grooves, the bolts/washers do not fit flush to the bottom. Overall, it's beautiful and elegant!
