Mailbox Replacement Parts for Posts, Pedestals and Locks

Mailbox replacement parts let you fix a damaged or worn mailbox setup without replacing the whole unit. This collection gathers posts, pedestals, brackets, locks, keys and finishing pieces from Salsbury Industries, Whitehall Products and Mayne, so a broken pedestal, bracket or lock does not mean buying a new mailbox.

  • Cluster box parts: Salsbury replacement pedestal for CBU models 3305, 3308 and 3312, Regency pedestal cover and engraved door placards
  • 4C locks and keys: replacement standard locks, tenant parcel locker locks and key blanks
  • Whitehall parts: Balmoral and Superior post brackets, finials and caps
  • Posts and pedestals: Salsbury standard pedestals and the Mayne No Dig Ground Anchor

Browse full mailbox posts, see 4C locks and key blanks, or replace an entire unit from community cluster mailboxes.

How to order the right part

  • Find the model: look for a label inside the door, on the back panel or in your original order.
  • Match the title: many parts list the exact models they fit.
  • Measure: for posts and brackets, compare dimensions and mounting holes before ordering.
  • Check availability: some 4C locks and key blanks sell out; contact us for restock timing.
  • Ask: send photos and the model number if you are unsure.

When to replace the whole mailbox

If the box is rusted through, the door no longer seals or the cabinet is cracked, a new mailbox is often the better choice. The same goes for a cluster box unit whose doors no longer align or whose parcel lockers will not latch. Compare options in locking mailboxes or USPS approved mailboxes. For lock work on cluster units, contact your local post office about the USPS lock before you start. Parts ship from the manufacturer; email customercare@mailboxempire.com for help identifying a part.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the right replacement part for my mailbox?
Start with the brand and model number, usually on a label inside the door or on the back of the unit. Match it to the product title here, since many parts name the models they fit, such as the replacement pedestal for Salsbury CBU 3305, 3308 and 3312. If you are unsure, email us at customercare@mailboxempire.com with photos.
Can I replace a lock on a 4C or cluster mailbox myself?
Tenant locks on 4C horizontal mailboxes are designed to be replaced by the owner or property manager, and Salsbury sells replacement standard locks with keys and key blanks. The USPS master or arrow lock is controlled by the Postal Service, so contact your local post office for anything involving that lock.
Do you sell replacement mailbox keys?
We list Salsbury key blanks for standard locks on 4C horizontal mailboxes, sold in a box of 50, which a locksmith can cut. For residential locking mailboxes, contact the manufacturer with your lock or key number, or email us and we can help you request a replacement. Availability varies, so check each product page.
Is it cheaper to replace a part or the whole mailbox?
If the box itself is sound, a part is usually much cheaper. A new post bracket, finial or pedestal costs far less than a full cast aluminum mailbox package or a new cluster box unit. Replace the whole unit if the cabinet is cracked, rusted through or no longer closes and locks properly.
Can I set a mailbox post without pouring concrete?
For Mayne posts, yes. The Mayne No Dig Ground Anchor lets you set a compatible Mayne mail post without digging a hole and pouring concrete. Salsbury standard pedestals for the Roadside Mailbox, Mail Chest and Mail Package Drop are in-ground mounted. Check each product page for the posts and mailboxes a part fits before ordering.
