Side Plaques
Side Plaques go onto the side of the mailbox. For Whitehall Products this means they can have either one or two lines of text. If you opt for a single line only, it will consist of up to 5 numbers only. Opting for two lines of text opens up space for a second line which can fit up to 16 characters for your street name.
Front Plaques
The door plaque located on the front of the mailbox will only have room for your house number. Accordingly to USPS regulations, each mailbox must contain your house number for identification.
Toppers
A topper is situated on the top of your mailbox and will allow up to 16 characters. Many customers opt to customize it with their last name or a simple slogan. This will also help any visitors to your home ensure they are going to the right address.

Salsbury Industries uses materials such as sheet aluminum for their mailboxes. While they do not provide a custom mailbox itself they do offer custom-cut vinyl numbers and letters that can be used to add a personalized touch to your mailbox.
Size and Security
This type of mailbox is usually large in size and adheres to the new USPS standard 7c. While they are aesthetically pleasing they are however not designed with the security mind. Prices start at around $300 for only the mailbox with custom side plaques. If you opt to include a matching post this will increase to $500++ depending on the model and features you select. The price will vary greatly depending on the amount of customization you opt for. Available styles are vintage, modern, and classic in design.
How Long Will it Take for Me to Receive my Custom Mailbox
