The Mail Boss Double gives two households their own high-security locking mailbox on one shared post. A commercial grade lock and patented anti-pry latch protect each box against mail theft, identity theft and vandalism. Everything needed to mount it comes in the package.

What's included

Installation
Mount each mailbox with the Fast-Trak mounting plate, on the spreader bar. The in-ground post is set in the ground, and the surface mount posts bolt to concrete or another hard surface with a base plate. Mail Boss does not include the surface anchors for the base plate. USPS guidelines place the mailbox 41" to 45" above the road and 6" to 8" back from the curb. See our installation guides and the curbside install guide. Shipping and returns
- Free shipping.
- Ships direct from Mail Boss in Washington State, usually within 1 to 3 business days. Tracking is emailed when it ships.
- Returns: request a return within 30 days of delivery and get an RGA number first. The item must be unused, not assembled or installed, and in its original packaging. You pay return shipping. A 20% restocking fee applies (25% for commercial or bulk returns of 5 or more items).
- Open and inspect everything on delivery. Report damage or missing parts within 48 hours.

Warranty
Mail Boss products carry a limited lifetime warranty from the maker, Epoch Design. It covers manufacturing defects and failure of moving parts under normal use, for the original owner in residential use. It does not cover deliberate or accidental damage, misuse, finishes, rust or improper installation. See our warranty page for details.

Will it take packages?
The incoming slot is sized for letters and a box of checks (about 1.9" high by 10.25" wide). For small parcels, look at the Mail Boss Package Master versions.
Is it USPS approved?
Yes. The Mail Boss curbside mailbox is USPS approved for curbside delivery (USPS Standard 7C). Check with your local postmaster before installing.
Does each mailbox have its own lock and keys?
Yes. Each of the 2 mailboxes has its own commercial grade 12-disc wafer lock and comes with 3 keys.
Which post option should I choose?
Choose the 43" in-ground post for grass or soil; it can also slide over a treated 4x4 wood post for deeper installs. Choose the 37" surface mount post for concrete pads, sidewalks or decks less than 4" above the road. Choose the 27" surface mount post for raised pads or sidewalks about 4" to 8" above the road. Mail Boss does not include anchors for the surface mount base plate, so pick ones that suit your surface.
