The Mail Boss Townhouse is a high-security locking mailbox for a wall, porch or entry. It mounts to almost any surface with the included hardware, or on an optional Mail Boss post. It is a close cousin of the Mail Boss Metro with minor design differences.

Installation

Installation hardware is included for mounting on almost any surface. See our installation guides for the Townhouse (SKU 717x) and the wall mount installation video. Check with your local postmaster before installing.

Shipping and returns

• Free shipping.
• Ships from Washington State, usually within 1 to 3 business days.
• Orders are processed within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and ship direct from the manufacturer. Tracking is emailed when your order ships.
• Returns: request within 30 days of delivery and get an RGA number first. The mailbox must be unused, not installed, and in its original packaging. A 20% restocking fee applies, and you pay return shipping.

Warranty

Mail Boss limited lifetime warranty from Epoch Design. It covers manufacturing defects and failure of moving parts under normal use, for the original owner with proof of purchase, for residential use. It does not cover deliberate or accidental damage, misuse, finishes, rust or improper installation. See our warranty page.

Can I mount it outdoors?

Yes. The Townhouse has a weather-tight seal and is made for outdoor mounting.

Can it go on a post instead of a wall?

Yes. It mounts on almost any wall surface with the included hardware, or on an optional Mail Boss in-ground post (43") or surface mount post (27"), sold separately.

How many keys does it come with?

It comes with 3 keys for its high-security 12-disc wafer lock.

What is the difference between the Townhouse and the Metro?

They are very similar: both are 14 and 16 gauge steel, weather sealed, and mount on a wall or post. The differences are in the design. The Olympus is wall-only, 16 gauge and not rated for outdoor mounting.

It meets USPS Standard 7C. Check with your local postmaster before installing.
