Installation

You need a 4" x 4" treated lumber post at least 50" long from a hardware store or lumberyard, plus cement. Warranty

Whitehall Products will repair or replace the mailbox or post, at its discretion, if Whitehall finds it defective in material or workmanship. The warranty applies to the original homeowner. Proof of purchase and a photo of the defect are required. It does not cover misuse, accidents, improper mounting, road salt, chemicals, road debris, vandalism or extreme weather. Yes. The Capitol mailbox is approved by the Postmaster General and meets USPS Standard 7C. Check with your local postmaster before installing.

How much text fits on the side plaques?

Each side plaque takes one or two lines. One line: up to five 4.5" characters. Two lines: up to five 3" characters on line 1 and up to sixteen 1.25" characters on line 2, for example your house number and street name.

What do I need to install it?
