Jayco Industries Horizontal Wall Mount Letter Locker

The Jayco Horizontal Wall Mount Letter Locker is a locking wall mailbox for homes and small businesses. Mail drops through a wide rotating hopper door into a locked compartment, out of reach of passers-by. Each unit is hand-built in the USA, and you choose the metal and the lock level.

• Steel (14-gauge Galvanneal): the durable standard and the most common choice. All-welded.
• Aluminum (.080" thick): recommended for moist climates for its rust resistance. Riveted.
• Heavy duty steel (10-gauge): recommended for high-crime areas. All-welded.
• Stainless steel (14-gauge, #4 brushed finish): the most rust resistant, for very damp and freezing climates. Riveted.

Lock options

• Level 1 (standard): USPS-style 5-pin cylinder lock with a 3/16" stainless steel hook cam.
• Level 2: heavy-duty door with a Medeco deadbolt.
• Level 3: Jayco's patented Claw Locking Mechanism.
• Level 4: Claw Locking Mechanism with a Medeco deadbolt.

Installation

Mount the Letter Locker on a wall, or on an optional post. Surface mount posts include a base plate, a top plate and mounting bolts, for existing or new concrete. In-ground posts are longer, include a top plate only, and are set in concrete like a fence post. Posts are sold separately. Yes. The incoming opening is 14" wide and 3" high, the widest of the wall mount Letter Lockers, and suits large envelopes and magazines.

Which material should I choose?

Galvanneal steel is the standard and most popular choice. Aluminum resists rust in moist climates. Heavy duty 10-gauge steel is for high-crime areas. Stainless steel is the most rust resistant, for very damp and freezing climates.

Which lock level do I need?
