Frequently asked questions

Can I use it as my mailbox for USPS delivery?

It is built as a drop box for payments, keys, checks and ballots, not for regular mail delivery. It does not accept magazines, files or envelopes. For a locking wall mailbox for mail delivery, see the Metro or Townhouse.

Can I mount it outdoors?

No. The Olympus has no weather-tight seal and is made for indoor walls, such as hallways, offices and lobbies.

Will a legal-size or thick envelope fit?

No. The listing says the slot does not accept envelopes, and a customer review says legal documents in an envelope do not fit well and can get folded or shredded.

How many keys come with it?

Three keys. The lock is a commercial-grade 12-disc wafer lock that resists drilling and picking.

What do I need to install it?

All hardware is in the box: 4 mounting screws, stainless washers, a driver bit and a drill bit. You need a drill.

How fast does it ship?

It ships free from Washington State, usually within 1 to 3 business days, and we email tracking when it ships.
