The Vertical Wall Mount Letter Locker is a locking mailbox from Jayco Industries, popular with small businesses and homes. Installation

The rear-access model is designed for a recessed installation in a wall, with delivery from outside and retrieval from inside. The box can also be mounted on a post. Surface mount posts include a base plate and top plate plus mounting bolts, for existing or new concrete. In-ground posts are longer, include a top plate only, and are set in concrete like a fence post. USPS rules for wall-mounted mailboxes are handled by local post offices, so check with your local postmaster before installing.

Should I choose front or rear access?

Rear access puts the locking retrieval door on the back of the box, for a recessed through-wall installation with delivery outside and pickup inside. Front access puts the retrieval door on the front.

Which material should I pick?

Steel (14 gauge galvanneal) is the standard and most popular. Aluminum suits moist climates. Heavy Duty Steel (10 gauge) is for high-crime areas. Stainless Steel is the most rust resistant and suits very damp and freezing climates.

Can I mount it on a post?

Yes. Surface mount posts (for concrete, mounting bolts included) and in-ground posts (set in concrete) are sold separately.
